 Educations 

Our mission is to improve the quality of education afforded to deaf and hard of hearing students from birth to age 21 throughout the United States.

Known as the Clerc Center, we are federally funded and:

- Operate two demonstration schools, Kendall Demonstration Elementary School and the Model Secondary School for the Deaf, both which are located on the campus of Gallaudet University and are tuition-free.

- Develop and disseminate products:clerccenter.gallaudet.edu/products

The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), conducts and supports research in the normal and disordered processes of hearing, balance, taste, smell, voice, speech, and language.
